NGD: My first Epiphone Casino

The Epiphone Casino has always been one of my favorite guitars from afar, but I have had very few opportunities to even have one in my hands. However, I rectified that when I scored a mint sunburst 2019 MIC Casino for a great price on Sweetwater Used.
It was an especially nice price given that the stock pickups had been already replaced with Curtis Novak Casino pickups … and they are definitely not muddy because of being overwound like the stock pickups in any shape, form or fashion, especially on the neck … and it looks to also have had a bridge update because it doesn’t have the dreaded ABR-1 wire that tends to buzz on Casinos.
While I haven’t had a lot of time to put it through its paces yet, I think we are going to get along just fine.
It’s also set up with flatwounds and I think I will keep them, with flats and the properly wound pickups Beatlemania lives. We will cross the bridge about any future upgrades, like nut or wiring or tuners or switches, when we get to it but right now everything seems very solid along those lines.

Wonder why they don't put a MOP Indian head inlay on the headstock?

I recently bought a used Noel Gallagher version of this and yes, you are correct sweet tone and it's very fun to play.
