I know it sounds hacky/dumb, it's just weird they are using 2019 at all, especially after the release date is now solid. If you have August 30th in stone why are you still including MMXIX?

I agree, but on that same note, I could see them using that (or self-titled) as the title BECAUSE of the 13 year wait. They would so do that as well

It's just a weird marketing move.
You have the date spelled out in english, but the MMXIX year in Roman, in the actual Tool logo. I'm just pointing out that MJK also mentioned it in reply to people guessing the title.

They still haven't actually said themselves that August 30 is the album's release date. That could be the date they announce the release date for all we know. Or maybe they'll just drop a single. Who knows.

Nah, that guy is too smart. He didn't finish on purpose. He is letting people destroy these two writers. Then he will release his book with the REAL ending that he knew all along *wink wink nudge nudge*
