Announced yesterday, and they've released the first track. Evidently it will be heavy on "ballads."

Can’t wait. Only seven tracks, one of which is a Like a Rolling Stone cover. I imagine they will be some long, sprawling tracks.

I hope it's better than the last release. I was excited to get a double LP but nothing really stood out on it to me. The Monitor is amazing, and I thought its follow-up was a fun change in pace.

Can you guys suggest maybe 5 songs for someone trying to get into them? Like 5 most accessible?

Wow. I loved TLA. It showed a real range of material that was surprising to me. Interestingly, I was never as big of a fan of the Monitor as their first album (despite recognizing the brilliance of the concept).

Airing of Grievances is their first album. It's pretty raw, but good. Give it a listen if you haven't.

That was my point. i preferred Airing of Groevances over the Monitor. It found me at a really good time though where it really scratched an itch I was feeling. Opening track with that “frick you” kickoff into blazing music just hits me in the sweet spot.
