These last two, moreso this one, just don't do it for me. I've been a huge rhcp for over 35 yrs and have seen them more than I can remember, including just last month.
I dont know if it's the lyrics from AK or just these drifting riffs and beats they've got going but it's all very disinteresting. I do really like the song Eddie and think John plays his heart out.
My Cigarette may be one of the worst songs I've ever heard. I'm surprised Rick Rubins name is all over these last two pieces.

Couldn’t disagree more. I also have been a huge fan since the early 90s. I like the way their music changes and evolves. I love the weirder aspects of their music now. But I’m also a huge ween fan, so that would explain me liking their brown songs.

Damn that outro to Bag of Grins is great. The last minute and a half Flea goes off and the vocals are great too.

I haven't had much time to digest this one yet...But after a few listens, it doesn't seem to be as easily likeable as Unlimited Love.

Been a fan over the years, haven't heard the new material more than once, but it sounds like rhcp. Mostly posting to say Rogan just interviewed AK after they played ACL in ATX. It was an interesting listen and he came off alot better than I imagined he would.

Rogan told Anthony that they closed with Under the Bridge...they did not, but Anthony didn't correct him. That was kind of odd. I guess he confused By the Way with UTB?

Yes Chad and Flea are technically sound but this album sucks.
