New album from New Order dropped today. If you are a fan of Technique and Regret era New Order, you have to give this a spin. They kind of lost their way with the last album somewhat but this album start to finish is classic New Order only with an updated sound. I don't even miss Hooky on bass like I thought I would. Album of the year for me. Check it out!

Get Ready was the last one I could listen to. But so far 3 tracks in this one does sound pretty good for New Order.

Plastic is vintage updated New Order to my ears. I didn't think the old farts had another album like this one in them anymore. Maybe the departure of Peter Hook freed Bernard up a bit. I was worried a bit about the closing track with Brandon Flowers lending some vocals to it. Although it's very poppy it still is very much New Order-ish. Thrilled with this album.

Very much this. Most tracks have been solid. a couple, if I had to be honest, are almost cringe worthy pop sounding(superheated) for New Order.

I'm checking it out now. Average. I like a couple tracks a lot. Academic is a good one.
