Anyone else like them? I've just recently discovered them(from hearing some of their songs on the Christian radio station) and I can't believe I haven't heard of them before.
The band is Christian but they are not labeled as Christian artists. They sound very similiar to Kings of Leon imo.

"The Outsiders" is a great song. I like them.

Prisoner, Drive All Night, and Girl named Tennessee my faves right now.
Washed by the Water also an amazing song as well. That is the song that made me look into their other stuff.

Needtobreathe is going to be in BR the night before your wedding. Quick trip over?

they are pretty good nurse. they are definitely followers of Jesus too so that makes them even cooler in my book

Yeah def not a possibility
ETA: Just looked and they are in PHX November 3...but I will be out of town that weekend
I just LOVE the lead singer's voice though.
Him and the lead singer from Third Day are two of my favorite voices in music.

eh, the third day guy grates on me. little goes a long way.
Do you get into Matt Redmond or David Crowder? I think the Matt REdmond 10,000 reasons album is the best worship album (as a whole) I have ever heard

I will have to check it out. I absolutely love You Never Let Go by him though. And David Crowder is amazing as well.
You like Sanctus Real? Saw them live a few months ago, love them as well. The song All of Me by the lead singer is a beautiful song(he wrote it about his son being born with a heart condition).
My first dance at my wedding is to Matthew West's When I say I do and I'm walking down the aisle to Brandon Heath's Love Never Fails. Another 2 Christian artists that I enjoy.

I don't mind NEEDTOBREATHE but I don't see this

Mainly talking about lead singer. His voice is very similar(imo again) to the lead singer of Kings of Leon.

Needtobreathe is good but no one in Christian music compares musically to Gungor (unless you count Sufjan)

They're from outside my hometown and they've really blown up recently. The two brothers were both wide receivers at Furman at the same time. They've matured a lot musically since their first album, which was almost entirely straight rock.
"The Heat" is probably my favorite album of theirs. Worth picking up on Amazon if you like their recent stuff.

NEEDTOBREATHE is by far and away my favorite band. They have a great balance of Christian faith driven songs and mainstream secular songs. I have over 60 of their songs in my library and I have yet to find one that I don't like. Saw them live last fall in Athens at the Georgia Theater and it was the best concert I've ever been to.
This is an acoustic version of "Keep Your Eyes Open" off their EP LINK
I get chills.

My only hipster moment: I've been listening to Needtobreathe since their first album. Most discovered them after The Heat came out, but Daylight was a stunning album.
Go listen to "You Are Here".
