Wife got me an all new audio rig for Christmas. New pioneer receiver, solid KEF speakers, and an a really nice Essential III turntable for vinyls.

So, give me your best...I like all genres of music but lean towards bands like Grateful Dead, Allman, any blues or bluegrass, and classic 60/70s rock.

I’m going to start going to used record stores in Nashville, but I am going to buy the essentials online.

All of this is grateful Dead. With the exception of the limited Record Store Day releases, most can be had at ElusiveDisc or MusicDirect...

Wow what a beautiful Dead collection. Very jealous. Do you have 2-3 that standout as your favorites?

And to the next response guy, the wife bought me the White Album, best of Grateful Dead, The Last Waltz, and some blues records with the gift

Spring 1990--So Glad You Made It

Wake Up to Find Out--3/29/90 (that's the Infamous Branford Marsellas show)

Cornell 5/8/77--rated as the greatest Dead show ever--this is probably sold out by now, but you can probably find them for sale online--probably for $150-$200 (it is 4 LPs)

All of these are multiple LPs. The ones from 1990 are stellar recordings as the dead was using a 24 track full digital board at that point. The Vanetta, Oregon LP box is good too.
