My wife got me an awesome present

For our 2 year anniversary she got me a record player and some speakers. They are on the way this week. First record is alabama shakes. I'm pumped, and we are going to austin this weekend as my gift to her, so I'll have to stop at a record store and get a few.

The best thing about records is the enlarged album artwork. Other than that, I don't get the nostalgic attachment.

Don't know if you've been, But Cheapo Records Has a very good record selection.
Plus it's across the street from the Shoal Creek Saloon Austins place to watch Louisiana teams.

Also, don't pay more than a few bucks for classic used vinyls from the 60s and 70s. Some record stores try to rip you off and tell you they're worth a lot --- they aren't. (for the most part)

Figured if I couldn't get them cheap in the store I could order them from online somewhere with legit pricing.
