Musical artifacts in odd places

Not sure exactly where to put this, so I'll put it here on the music board.
We took our son to Monster Jam in Athens, GA over the weekend (city arena not the UGA coliseum). Walking the concourse to our seats there was a display case holding one of Duane Allman's Gibson SG guitars and one of the glass Coricidin bottle he used as an improvised slide.
Apparently when the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in Macon closed, a lot of the artifacts were transferred to the UGA library system. It was just odd to come across that in such an unexpected place.
Has anyone else stumble d across music memorabilia in strange/unexpected places?

The Shreveport airport decades ago had a custom one-off guitar on display that was said to be owned by former Louisiana Governor Jimmie Davis, of "You Are My Sunshine" fame.
The guitar was mothballed in storage during a major terminal renovation in the mid 2000s and I have no clue if it was put back on display after the renovation or returned to the donor.
I actually played that guitar back when it was in storage, I had a pal in mgt at the airport. It played horribly and had serious issues, even if I'd had my tools it was best suited as wall art haha

I believe that guitar is at municipal auditorium in Shreveport along with some of Jimmie Davis other memorabilia among some Elvis stuff.
Davis lived and taught there for years so not entirely out of place.

Saw John Lennon's piano in Dallas. He had written Imagine using the instrument. It was behind glass at a mall if I remember correctly.

Now that’s a good example

Oh yeah. Very cool.
I remember seeing him playing that.

Not sure anyone can beat that.
I'd be curious how that piano ended up there.
