Ive gotta say, up until mid 2012 I honestly tuned out for the past 5 years to pretty much anything new.. commercialized CRAP which I truly loathe. But lately I gotta say Ive become very impressed with newer (and a lot of INDIE artists) Maybe there is hope! I know my current new favorite video is Macklemore's And We Danced.. And We Danced

No. It's still mostly commercialized crap.

Avoid the radio and there is still plenty of good tunes out there.

Satellite radio has some really good content.

Music isnt dead in fact its in a golden era. We have access to much more music than ever before. more and more bands are able to get content to a lot of people.

Now popular music is dead. Its making a little bit of a comeback with more real bands becoming popular like Fun. or Mumford but its pretty much out for the count.
