I understand that everyone has different musical tastes, but I don't get what is so "shitty" about M&S.
They're not exactly into variety (in either instrumentation or structure), but many bands have gotten away with the whole build-up routine. Their writing is generally consistently good and they're all very talented musicians. You also gotta love the banjo.
They're the overexposed band who everyone loves to hate at the moment, but people need to stop acting as if they're the new Nickelback.

Song definitely still sucks, but good for them for making it fun. When Jason Bateman was playing the banjo and it started smoking and then he started tapping I actually laughed.
