Damn, they usually make it a point to cruise down this way, but no NOLA dates yet. Hopefully they tack on some fall shows later.

Fret not. This is simply the first announcement. They will most definitely be adding dates. Keep in mind this is a touring band, so they won't do 8 shows and call it complete.

Very true but they've also played Nola twice in last 2 years. Plus Jim James just played the Civic a month or 2 ago. That said, I hope they come to town. And maybe a new tour means a new album is close too.

I might have to make this trip. GCJ killed it at the Civic a few months ago. Would be great to see him sit in on a few MMJ songs.
They usually make it a point to bring other artists into the fold when possible. I've been lucky enough to see them bring out Erykah Badu, Lucious, Kirk Hammett, and Preservation Hall.

Wow. You sure as hell have been lucky. Yea, I live lower alabama, but you wouldn't have to twist my arm too hard to make the trip to see that show

We are road tripping to Raleigh. Wife has friends out there, so the main cost is fuel and tickets.
Stupid me though royally fricked up. I didn't once consider 10am Eastern time! I logged in an hour late and now have row JJ. FML!
