FWIW I think she would do well in country music rather than the pop music she's put out. Her voice is definitely more suited for country and it's in her blood.

Jolene was the name of a little girl who came back stage to meet Dolly. Dolly thought Jolene was a beautiful name and wanted to write a song about it.
The person 'Jolene' (whose name wasn't actually Jolene) is written after a bank teller "Mr. Parton" had a crush on. Dolly would needle him about it all the time..."Where you going? Let me guess...the bank" type of thing...
I love that song and Miley did a pretty good job on it...
