Time for some symphonic/power metal. I found this band the other day and dig the singer, Melissa Bonny.

I'm into it! Unleash the Archers is another power metal band with female vocals that comes to mind.

I don't know how you guys are into power metal and not one mention of the new Eternal Champion album yet LINK

Gave a few tracks a listen. Don't really care for the dude's voice.

Never heard them before, but I liked the one you posted. Warrants further investigation. Had to sign in to Youtube to listen because of Heavy Metal cartoon titties.

Their new album just came out a few weeks ago and is a critical darling right now. I've already seen it mentioned on a few best of the year lists and expect it to make some more. They are one of the "it" bands in the underground right now.

Listening now. I’d seen them mentioned on Bandcamp many times the last few weeks, but I don’t think I ever listened to them.

They are not my favorite band in this genre but they are hot right now so I thought more people would have heard of them. Classic 80s style metal is in a bit of a revival right now.

Been meaning to listen to them. They’re all over the year end best of lists.

I thought it was cool to see Eternal Champion mentioned here. I know those guys. I go to all the hardcore shows in and around Dallas.
Anyway, the singer of EC is also in one of the best ever hardcore bands in Texas - Iron Age...and the album Constant Struggle is classic. The guitar player Wade Allison of Iron Age died in September. He used to play earlier in Eternal Champion.
Blake of Power Trip is in Eternal Champion also.

I love the descriptions of these guys from their Bandcamp pages:
Gravesend - Needle Park
quote:
New York City’s dark underbelly of yesterday are re-lived through the eyes of loathe and disdain. Crawling out from the sewers in 2020 and into the dispirited glow of the city’s darkness, GRAVESEND manifests a hate for the make-up of the urban landscape. Finding refuge within the city’s mortuary gates, GRAVESEND brings a harsh aural manifesto of urban disgust.
