I’m thinking that a thread referencing the long lost period that Def Leppard kicked arse should include a couple from their debut album On Through The Night.

Though I’ve seen them a few times live, I lost interest around 1983\4.

Same here. Pyromania started it for me as well although I did see them at the Centroplex on that tour with Krokus opening, May of ‘83. That one of the ones you saw?

Love their first album. In interviews they seem to resent their debut because the praise was not about the actual music, but that 16 year olds we’re capable of turning that out.

Makes sense. Do they even play anything from it live anymore? I rather doubt it. If they do I suppose it would be Wasted.

High ‘n’ Dry

Effectively made by teenagers. :letthatsinkin:

As Steve fell apart, the band became less intense. We all grow up. Def Leppard just embraced and didn't fight it like some.

I always wanted one of those cool British flag shirts lie Joe Elliot wore.

Loved High and Dry but I literally wore the grooves out on Pyromania. It's the album I learned to play drums along to.

Imagine my surprise when I rounded the corner at the grocery store one day last year and was face to face with Phil Collen. Super nice guy.
