but for a life long fan it is a great look into what went into the development of many of their great songs. They where so far ahead and set the bar so high. 13 albums in 7 years! Well it helped that they did stop touring so had plenty of time to create. Plenty of insight. Paul actually played drums on some of the recordings. George brought in Eric Clapton to play on one of my favorite song "While my Guitar Gently Weeps"! Great respect for a song that he wrote.

It was great to watch for a Beatles fan. I enjoyed the ‘piano lesson’ he gave showing how he taught himself. The isolated tracks were very cool to hear.

According to Benard Purdie, he even played drums on some of that stuff.

Not breaking news. The different sound of Paul playing drums on songs like Back in the USSR and the Ballad of John and Yoko is very noticeable. It's a much more aggressive style.

Really fascinating dive into how they wrote songs. It doesn’t even seem like they struggled to get words/music written. They burned hot, then flamed out in such a short time. What might have been had John not been killed...
