I’ve never listened to a single Tool song but Maynard is an interesting guy. Seems very grounded and appears to be living the dream

I listened to the whole podcast. I enjoyed it for the most part, even though very little was about Tool. Maynard has always come off as pretty damn pretentious to me but he seems to have mellowed out with age. I'm sure having a kid changed him a good bit.

Seems to me like he hates sitting still. I bet his years pass quick with everything he has going on all the time.

Yeah, thats his second.
His first has to be in his 20’s now. He is the one that H is about.
Was just pointing out the comment that Maynard has changed because of having a kid doesn’t really fit, being he’s had a kid since the 90’s. Maybe something is different about this one

I think there could be a big difference. His first kid was when he was crazy busy touring and making music with more than one band. Who knows how much he was involved. He’s been more at home and had more “Dad time” with his latest child. Just speculating.
