Apparently, 1/2 of the original lineup are recording a limited edition EP of covers, for a benefit...
But Paul admits a new record could be in the works... Tommy is on board, but unfortunately, Chris is not...
Bob's dead, so the magic of his guitar will obviously be missed....

That was my first thought. How can the Mats reunite? Isn't Bob dead?

Never under estimate the power of Tommy... He is (at least was) the embodiment of Rock 'n Roll!
Honestly, I think bandmates would help keep Paul focused... he has some absolute gems in his solo records, surrounded by half finished songs...

I meant that as a compliment. Even the Mats best work was pretty uneven. They were the ultimate "We do not give a crap" band. Some bands, you're not sure if they'll make it to the end of the show. The Mats, you're not even sure they can hold it together for an album.
