Imo they are the best southern rock group. At the very least 1a and 1b with Allman Bros. Definitely better than Skynryd though.

99% of the bands out there didn't do anything to move music, but I still highly appreciate some of them.

After Duane and Berry? Maybe.
Marshall Tucker Band compared to the original lineup? The Allman Brothers are easily superior, IMO. Duane was a demigod.

Allman Brothers are on a whole 'nother level, mon. Marshall Tucker Band is alright but they really aren't comparable. I mean Duane alone is one of the greatest of all time.

Weirdest concert I have ever seen was MTB,38Special, and Nazareth. I went to see Nazareth open for these two. Quite the difference in genre of music for a show.

Little Feat wasn't a southern band. they were from Southern California and were born from a former member of Frank Zappa's Mothers of Invention. About as far from a southern band as you can get.

Geographically true but their style of music is undoubtedly southern.

Allmans are the Zep of southern rock. MTB is like Bad Company.
