Marantz Repair Suggestions? Model 4430

I bought a Marantz 4430 last week for a really good price. The seller, who was a bit of a collector, did warn me that it may need a recap, so I understood I was buying as-is. It has played fine, but last night developed a random pop and would either continue playing or go into a protection mode. After a few minutes off, it would play again.
I cracked the lid just to see if anything was obviously wrong, but it all seems fine to the eyeballs. (that is about my level of ability trouble shooting the inner workings of a receiver)
1- Anyone have suggestions for things to look for?
2- Anyone have suggestions for where I might get it repaired around the BR area? (New Orleans would be doable as well)

Wilson Audio in Metairie may be able to help.
