I'm listening to a local country music station and they are playing a recording of the old Hayride! That's all.

They said Gov. Jimmie Davis then George Jones name was mentioned, then I was away and they switched to classic county. I remember the Hayride a bit but I was a child. Elvis performed there later.

I was listening to a NPR story on Huey Long the other day and they played a snippet of the owner of KWKH. I looked that guy up and man what a rebel ha ha. He's one of the reasons the FCC became strong in regulating stations
