when that happens for me I usually hit up youtube

the mahalodotcom ones are usually alright...plus look for which ones have a lot of views. And if you read the comments people will say if it is right or wrong
also watch other people doing covers of it on youtube and watch their fingers if you think they sound right
ETA: but I agree I hate when you have to go on a "tab hunt"...if it isn't right I dont know why people post it

i hate having to hunt too, but this is easily one of the worst ones i've ever seen, both in diversity between individual tabs and level of wrongness of said tabs
