Linkin Park Chester Tribute Show Tonight 10:30 est

That was an odd show. Linkin Park are genuine guys though and back up their statements. I remember post Katrina they were down here for a week going to schools and handing out supplies among other things. Ironic cause they hadn’t played closer than Houston since Katrina. Chester was a good person man. It really sucks to see someone like that give up. This wasn’t a narcissistic prick. This guy legitimately loved other human beings.

Also a really cool event to benefit the charity and give the hardcore fans some closure on the issue. You could tell how much that band meant to so many in the crowd.

I’m glad the band streamed the show and left it up on YouTube.

Moments I was jealous of:

Olly from BMTH belting Crawling. Not surprising but he seemed one of the artists actually hit by the situation kind of hard. Olly gave more screaming on Crawling than he does on 95% of his own bands shows. He shredded his voice by singing so untrained for years. He actually gave it everything as maybe the biggest fan of the band from the guests. I mean he’s stated they were a huge reason he got into music and you can hear the HT influence in BMTH.

Jonathan Davis dude how do you screw up so many lines of One Step Closer? You actually worked on the Reanimation version of that song! Lol

Blink and Mike should not try to sing What I’ve Done again. That was rough.
