I've never paid much attention to Beatles history, but I'm getting a little more into it in light of a coming trip to Liverpool (and London) and some Beatles shite we're going to do there.
It's amazing at how much the Beatles have driven this industry of maintaining their history. I just bought Tune In, which everyone appears to rave about as the seminal history of the band, looking forward to getting into it.

This is a great behind the scenes look at the John/Paul relationship. I still listen to The Beatles often and will continue to do so.
I am surprised that John had such a shitty typewriter.

That petty animosity between 2 of the most prolific songwriters of all time just makes me sad. Good job women

Clapton wrote Layla, Wonderful tonight, & Bell Bottom blues about Pattie Boyd, George Harrison's wife that he would later marry also. GH wrote "Something" about her also.

At this point in time Paul was drinking himself to death in isolation and John Lennon was getting over a heroin addiction and primal therapy to get his demons out.
This includes crying like a baby to anyone who would listen that the other Beatles were big meanies to Yoko
They were both insufferable.
