Saw the Misfits with the Damned and Rancid at the Oracle Arena in Oakland. The place was packed to the rafters and the crowd as electric. They put on a hell of a good show. Dave Lombardo gives their music more 'pop' than it's ever had with his power and beats.

Raw Power is definitely in my top five. They put on a hell of a show at Jacy's back in the day. Also a big fan of Die Kreuzen, especially the Cows and Beer ep.

American Nightmare is prob my fave song that i havent seen listed so far. Great driving song.

Saturday Night prob favorite non danzig Misfits track.

Marcus from Last Podcast on the Left has a great punk series called No Dogs in Space going right now, they just did 4ish hrs on the Misfits. Introduced me to Antidote, good stuff.

Also, not punk, but Texas is the Reason had a great album back in the day.

I remember the Judys and hearing of the Dicks. Not familiar with the rest so I’ll have to check them out.

You left out The Hates, though.

Double Nickels on the Dime is still one of my favorite albums ever. So many songs and every one of them is excellent.

Two of my favorite songs from 2020. Probably more punk inspired indie rock than true hardcore.

Dogleg- Hotlines

Jeff Rosenstock- Ohio Tpke

I always liked the misfits but found myself into more political stuff around then. Conflict, crass exploited, gbh that sorta stuff. Many years later I got into a lot of mid school stuff. probably to this day Lagwagon Hoss is tops for me

I finally checked out The Damned after listening to the series on No Dogs in Space. Can’t believe I had never listened to them before. Triple D, Machine Gun Etiquette and the Black Album are incredible. Also love Dave Vanian’s voice.
