My main daily player guitar's paint job was inspired by Vai's "Crossroads" Jackson, except I told my paint guy to more specifically match Dorothy's slippers.

FYI, the original "Crossroads" Jackson is in the hotel lobby at the Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi. There's a big crack in the body from the neck joint through to the butt from when he dropped it on stage after cuttin' heads with Eugene :)

I think they missed a cool opportunity with the new 'Karate Kid' series on YouTube. They should have slyly placed that old Tele from Crossroads up on one of the walls of Daniel's dojo at his house. And maybe even an old framed B&W photo of Willie Brown. Or, Johnny making a comment about Daniel selling his soul to win that All-Valley Tournament.

Nice!

I must have seen that movie 25 times as a teen, used to be able to quote it line for line

What were the Vai guitars with the handgrips through the body? Were those Jacksons?

EDIT Nvm Ibanez
