Lord did I love their stuff.
I kept buying albums right through "See you on the other Side" and the "Untitled" album.
The song "Killing" off the Untitled album was a great workout song. Makes you want to run forever like Ivan Drago.

Can they just be Rated?
They have a cult following of people that can't let nu-metal go. They have some legitimately good albums (1-3 were fantastic). But their personas are super old and their aggro-metal sound is relevant anymore save for new permutations of dubstep.

My cousin, who is a big music nerd who might start writing for one of those big music blogs, said "Korn III: Remember Who You Are" was a nice return to the old style and he actually liked it a bit. Interesting since he couldn't stand much of any of it after the 2nd album.

One of those bands you like when you're 13 but then realize it was crap as you mature

First two albums are really good. Jon Davis has some great screams going on. Interesting and weird riffs from two guitars that compliment each other very well. Great bass. Heavy as hell. Lyrics are kind of 'meh' but doesn't really matter to me.
I'm not big on the rest of their catalog except for some songs off FTL

Everything through Issues was good. After that, meh.

They started out strong and got worse with each album.
