I found the Bosch playlist on Spotify the other day (great show, great songs!), and I came upon this gem in the tracklisting. While most of the music is jazz, they do sprinkle in some rock, folk and such due to some of the credit songs from the show. Check out this killer track here:

Neal Francis - Changes

I was hooked the first time I heard it. After a few spins I decided to go find this classic acid rocker from the 60-70s era.

Um.... This song is from his debut and sole album, also called Changes, that was released in 2019. I was stunned. This is straight out of the acid days of classic rock, and it is great stuff.

I highly recommend checking him out. I've since been listening to the entire record, and this guy has some skills. He should find a path to stardom if he keeps at it.

Indeed! The beauty of Spotify and streaming services is that we can discover new music of unknown musicians. This guy needs to gain recognition, because he is legitimately good.

ETA: this definitely has a new orleans feel to it overall. That changes song is great, but the rest of the album is jammin. I just bought the vinyl. He deserves the sales.
