Comes out today! Any fan of Red Dirt Country music would enjoy this album. Josh Abbott really did a great job on his 3rd album.

Meh. Not really a JA fan. He's selling out shows and has a bus, though, so he's obviously doing something right, so good for him. I just feel like he's a Randy Rogers rip-off. Randy's been doing it better for longer.

I agree they have the same sound and cut songs from the same cloth, but I just love both RRB and JAB. Both are blowing up right now. Great voice and great fiddle play.

Yeah, Preston (JA fiddle) is my boy but I still can't bring myself to go to one of their shows.

Just saw Randy on Sunday at the Reckless Kelly Softball Jam...no full band, just Randy and Brady. His tour manager is one of my closest friends so I get hooked up for his shows. That's probably why I'm so loyal and have no love for Josh Abbott

JA is going to be in Auburn Saturday. Pretty sure I'm going to check it out, even though it's at Bourbon St.

heard the new JA cd last week and some good song writing tunes but like yall said I really cant bring myself to go to one of their shows, especially after seeing Chris Knight and Jason Eady play some amazing live acoustic shows last week (JA is in the same boat as Eli to me, meh)

Yes, and everyone in Eli Young wears more makeup than I do.

Jason Eady is GREAT. He opened for Randy at Nutty Brown a few weeks back and I was really impressed. Super nice guy, too. He gave me his whiskey drink on the way to the bar...I think I'm in love :)

I wish Chris Knight would come back to Baton Rouge. He played at this little hole in the wall called The Red Dragon Listening Room about 2 years ago. Saw RRB back in February and they kicked arse like always. JAB had a show scheduled at The Varsity Theatre for April 18th but it got canceled for some reason. I was looking forward to it.

Varsity?

A few friends and I drove in for that because they had never been to a Randy show before. Kyle (the TM) ended up giving us all-access passes, plus he set up a mini bar in the green room for us and we got to play Beer Olympics afer the show. It was the very first tour bus experiences for the other girls and they had SO much fun. That might be my all-time favorite Randy show.

Yea! thanks a-hole for the invite! na man i'm just playin you lucky son of a bitch. I was front row for the show. Caught one of Randy Roger's picks. I don't remember that old man's name that opened for RRB, but when Brady came out and played fiddle for the old man that was pretty bad arse.

If I come to another show in BR anytime soon I'll let you know! I get as many tickets as I want. And Brady's a great friend of mine too...phenomenal on the fiddle and an incredible human being.

And if you saw all the drunk girls running up from behind the stage, that was us. We got a little rowdy. :)

Yea, I saw them peaking around the curtain on the left side of the stage. I remember there was a thread i was posting in about the show and yall said a group of people were riding up with the band.
