RIP. Didn't realize he had a neuro disease that limited drumming skills.

RIP Joey. Sad day for his family and fans. Another member of the band gone way too soon.

Great drummer. I was always hopeful he would end up back in Slipknot. He was one its founders.

Man rip to a legend. He influenced many drummers and musicians which is even more evident now seeing all of the posts honoring him. One of the best drummers of the modern era

Just awful. He had a very distinct sound on drums that is rarely duplicated

Slipknot reddit is being very vague and saying there was some other shite going on when he left. They said it was medical but then he went and started another band

RIP

He was open about having been diagnosed with acute transverse myelitis and not being able to walk for a period of time. He got over it, but the band moved on without him. Of course, we don’t know the entire story, but I always thought it was shitty of them to permanently kick him out of the band for a health issue that is recoverable. They could have gotten a temporary replacement while he recovered.

Joey is more creative than Weinberg. I love Jay tho he is a great replacement. He plays the songs super fast live

His drumming is one of the main things that drew me into liking Slipknot.
