I'm interested to see how many units Kanya, J. Cole, and Mac move.

First time 3 rappers reach 100K first week sales while releasing all in the same day in a while.

We need to stop comparing these albums. Enjoy them. Mac, Kanye, and J Cole all released great albums.

Born Sinner is an awesome album. I have listened through it once this morning and I couldn't be more impressed. He shows a lot of growth lyrically. He's killing it.

This is up there or close to Kendrick's album. Really digging this.

This album has more of the traditional hip-hop feel. Aside from the singles, I enjoyed Born Sinner a lot more than GKMC. Guess it's the kind of music you like

Oh absolutely rap album of the year. I listened to it a good 20 times on stream...a little addicted.

To me this is the only real competitor to Random Access Memories for album of the year so far. So wide in scope but stays coherent, lyrically eloquent while staying melodically driven, making this an exceedingly listenable rap album.

I definitely wouldn't put it on the level of GKMC, but it's a really good album, nonetheless, and my favorite album from the genre so far this year. There's a few things I don't like. The Kerney skit kills the flow of the album, IMO. I understand paying homage, but I don't like using essentially an exact replica of The Art of Storytelling beat in Land of the Snakes. Also, Cole really needs to work on the drums in his beats. Otherwise, I really like how he switched flows throughout the album and he continues to be a great storyteller and my favorite rapper. I snagged two hard copies today.

If you guys haven't heard his freestyles on Funkmaster Flex from a couple of days ago, I'd check it out.
