Heaven. Actually I think I may go out and call it: this is the best game ever made. This beats Bioshock, which for me is saying a hell of a lot.


It's pure perfection. All flaws are incredibly minor, if they even exist. In terms of comparisons...I'm at a loss. I guess if you've read/seen The Road you have a pretty good idea of the general feel, though that work is a bit darker for sure. Do yourself a favor and buy it, you won't regret it.

Also, I clocked in at 16 hours 30 minutes on hard. I missed a comic and a shiv door or two, but I felt I was pretty heavily dedicated to looking around.

I think that's what it was aiming for. It's a summer anthem and that's exactly what they wanted. Songs like that and Lose Yourself to Dance are dance songs...don't try to read too much into them. That's just them returning to their roots of making excellent jamming music. For every Dan Brown novel there's a Dostoevsky, for every One More Time a Digital Love, and for every Get Lucky an Instant Crush. Don't confuse the purposes of each or you're just setting yourself up for disappointment :cheers:

You evidently have no appreciation for the music, which is totally fine. To each his own, but remember that works two ways. We are very obviously much more invested in/knowledgeable/passionate about this type of music than you, so leave us to it. RAM is easily album of the year. Innovative, of the absolute highest production quality, incredibly wide in scope, and still all Daft Punk. The only thing they've done so far that can compete with Discovery.

I listened to it 30 times front to back on stream before it even released. Get at me. :nana:

Anybody else got Deluxe Edition? Generally not up to par with the rest IMO, except for Is She Gon Pop. I only wish it were a few minutes longer and felt like less of an afterthought. That beat has so much potential. :bow:

No doubt, they could maybe even have won. Just think about how absurdly close the Spurs were, a decent game from any of Manu, Tony, or Green would have been the closer.
