Fun show. The Saenger is seriously amazing. Great sightlines, perfect sound. I am kicking myself for not going to Gov't Mule or Dr John.
The show delivered as promised. The new material rocked. White is one of the best at manipulating feedback and distortion. Lots of weird (in a good way) sounds throughout the night. I was impressed at the amount of flawless segues in between songs. The drummer is pretty insane. He reminded me of a black Stanton Moore since he kept rising above the kit so much. The keyboardist was on point as well. Those two were easily the most talented of the backing band. I feel like the chick violin player is just Jack's slampiece or something because she was pretty meh.

I am so jealous.
and to think I could have had tickets for around $30-35 a week ago. I will regret not going to this for a while.
Glad you guys had a great time though.

How was the New Orleans show compared to Shreveport?
Sorry, just got back on. Both were incredible. Sound was a little better at NO, not that shreve was bad at all. I preferred the setlist in nola, just personal favorites, but had a lot more fun at the shreveport show honestly. Both were amazing.
