Is Reanimation > Hybrid Theory?

Yeah the board hates Linkin Park... I know
Let me get the featurings out of the way early:
- Jay Gordon ( Orgy lead singer )
- Chali Tuna ( Jurassic 5 )
- Stephen Richards ( Taproot lead )
- Black Thought ( Roots )
- Stephen Carpenter ( Deftones lead guitarist )
- Jonathan Davis
- Aaron Lewis
This album just holds up so much better over time. Hybrid Theory is fantastic, but they managed to create a much more dynamic sound from song to song. The rapping hits so much harder. The beats hit harder. I’m taking Reanimation all day, and I think it’s an underrated album when people consider their catalog. Being able to essentially re-do an iconic album (frick you people who at least can’t admit it’s a huge success) and make the songs better in a vast majority of the cases... impressive
I’ll get shite on for this thread, but I’m curious if any LP fans feel the same way.
ETA Oh and the mixing on this album is just great

I love Reanimation because it's just so much different from all of LP's other stuff. But Hybrid Theory is just so damn good I can't pick against it

It’s hard to pick against HT, but Reanimation is about twice as long and has some moments that let it breath some. It’s not just mike rapping, Chester singing, Hahn beats, and power chords. Don’t get me wrong. I love Hybrid Theory but there’s something about Reanimation I can listen to in almost any mood. Regardless, I think it’s a crazy underrated album compared to the rest of their catalogue. Saying HT is LP’s best album is the way to go. I just am in the minority on which I prefer.

One of my favorite albums ever. Reanimation is definitely > Hybrid Theory.
