So I play bass and this is a new song by our group. I started playing 2 years ago at 44 years old. It was always a lifelong dream to play bass but I hadn't ever put my efforts into it. I play for 2 bands now and gig every few months at a minimum. We hired a sound engineer to come in and record for us. So here she is. The first song on our album.

New song

Is that you with the sick high harmonies?

Too bad you didn't play a few years back. Would have broke out the guitar.

No bass solos and I don't sing. I can barely play the bass much less sing. I know it's not a fabulous effort but I'm proud to have done it and check that off my bucket list as I get older.

Haul that bad boy back out. You don't forget how to play.

Good job--pretty straight and simple rock-n-roll. Reminds me of Midnight Oil a bit.

I don't know if our musical tastes would match, old man.

I'm sure you can set aside your fascination with boy bands and play some real music with the gentleman can't you?

I'm self producing a blackened death metal album. First solo. Recording, writing, mixing, etc.

I like it better that way, less rules.

Creating is one of the best parts about being a person.
