Man,I hate to bump heads, but that's not the best Elvis song, the best rain song, or the best song about Kentucky.

I don't know why I like that particular song so much, but I always have. Just the way it's written I guess. It turns up on my youtube suggestions every once in a while.

My dad loves it too. Said he would lay in his bed at night with a radio hoping the DJ would play it.

Who was the drummer on this? Mostly it seems like Roger Hawkins, except for the very beginning.

Not sure it is even the best Elvis song about Kentucky (He did a slammin' cover of Blue Moon of Kentucky.)
