What did everyone think? Bummer about Friday bands being cancelled, although DJ Windows 98 was a blast that night. Only 2 real shows I caught on Saturday were Deer Tick and Greensky. Deer Tick was cool and they were into it. But i couldn't help think they're more of a small indoor venue band. To me, their sound just doesn't have enough gravity for that outdoor festival setting. That said, they sounded great and I liked their setlist. Still one of my favorite bands from that category.

Greensky was really cool too although I'm only a casual fan of theirs.

Greensky is the real deal...damn good bluegrass musicians. I saw them last year and was impressed.

Glad you enjoyed the weekend.

Enjoyed Deer Tick and Greensky, but I wish I would've gotten to see more of Phil Cook. Caught the tail end of his set and was really liking what I heard.

Deer Tick

Had never seen them before, but thought they put on a great show. Two odd things from their set - the lead singer face-planting as the band walked on stage and the make out between him and the bass player towards the end

The face plant was fake/staged
Guess the kiss was humorous
He also opened his beer bottles with his teeth, which I think may be fake teeth
They party hard
Need their setlist to track down one of the earlier songs in their set
