Hiss Golden Messenger

Probably one of my current favorite bands along with Phosphorescent.

For Hiss? Poor Moon was the first album of theirs I heard, but I think that Lateness of Dancers, as cliche as it is to pick the most recent one, is probably their best.

For Phosphorescent, Muchacho is really freaking excellent. They also just released a new live album. I'm just not sure that it gets any better than opening punch of "Sun, Arise," Song for Zula," and "Ride on/Right on" off Muchacho. Everyone raves about WOD's opener of "Under Pressure" and "Red Eyes," but I'll take the Phosphorescent opener over it.
