Help for a talent show

I know a middle school kid that loves to play guitar and sing for people. He’s playing in a talent show but he’s struggling to find a good song to play. Have you got any recommendations for good, recognizable, hopefully sing-a-longish song? No other instruments, just guitar and vocals.
