Guitar Players: Do you play/practice playing with your eyes closed for extended periods?

I do.Songs that I've been playing forever I seem to feel the strings better when my I shut my eyes.
Someone please tell me that I'm not crazy.

I do that if I'm playing somebody else's song sometimes. I spend most of my playing time working on my own songs though, so I'm always trying to figure out a new lick to add in, I kind of need to keep my eyes open on that. If you've got something memorized though, it's good to close your eyes and test yourself.

Almost always have my eyes closed. An occasional glance to the fretboard.
Helps me concentrate and also fantasize about the babes in the front row.

Heck no. My eyes are glued to the fretboard as if my life depended on it.

I take a quick glance at the fret board when I change hand positions. Otherwise, I'm looking at my bandmates or the audience if there is one.

I mostly look at the floor
if I need notes or music for something, I put it on the floor too

No, but I used to in the dark and in a strobe

I always watched the fretboard until I started singing into a mic live. That was the point where I developed the confidence not to stay laser focused on the fretboard - it’s liberating in a way. It’s awesome when you hear your guitar being part of the larger moment around you ...eyes open or closed.

Depends how many beers I've had

When practicing, I try not to look at the fretboard unless I'm learning something brand new, or making big jumps up the fretboard.
When practicing scales, I look away or close my eyes.
