Any Grizzly Bear fans here? Their new album officially releases tomorrow. Huge fan of their previous three and this looks to be right up there with them.

Grizzly Bear - Three Rings

Grizzly Bear - Neighbors

Three Rings and Mourning Sounds were both really good. Didn't really listen to the other two singles. I'll likely get the album tomorrow. The reviews are strong thus far.

The next four weeks are absolutely stacked-- Grizzly Bear, The War on Drugs, LCD Soundsystem and The National. Four of the top indie bands of the past decade all releasing albums on successive Fridays. I'm looking forward to all of them.

Yep, been looking forward to tomorrow's release for some time. Three Rings, Neighbors, and Mourning Sound are all great songs.

Playing Nola on Nov. 12th.

This one is a grower. I've only listened to it as background noise so far but i like it better than their last album already. It seems a return to form for the band.

This album is tremendous, finishing up the 1st listen now and I can tell it's going to be one of my favorites for this year.

I've listened to it like 4 times this week in its entirety; I'm going ahead and saying this is my favorite album from GB. From start to finish it's easily the most cohesive/inventive/immersive piece they've put out.

Idk if anybody ever checks out the Song Exploder podcast but they did one on the song Four Cypresses about a month ago. Worth a listen imo

I dig the shite out of their sound.

If you like them, you may like Local Natives also

Acadiana Center for the Arts,

It is a sweet venue. Holds 500.

They won;t have seats in there for this, outside of the top area. I saw St Paul and the Broken Bones there. Solid show, but the sound was kinda low. People yappin and talking and I'd hear that over the music. Maybe for this the sound quality will be better

Spoon came to Knoxville earlier in the year and it was one of my favorite shows in a while - I'm jealous of that billing.

I've listened to Painted Ruins 4 times now since this thread popped up, this is my favorite album of 2017.

Every song is badass.
