Came across on another guitar YouTube channel, the solo is a great piece of guitar work. The band is the Main Squeeze.

They played at Alexandria River Fete a few years ago and absolutely crushed it. Their War Pigs cover and Redbone cover are great as well.

That is awesome, although I think Roger Waters would have an aneurysm if he saw the video based on where it is and who's playing it.

As much Pink Floyd as I have listened to over the years it's crazy that I never knew that Roy Harper sings the lead vocals on the original track (found out a few months ago when a friend mentioned it to me...had to google it to believe him). I just always assumed it was David Gilmour.

...or the disco version, which is actually really good!

quote:

In 1979, Warner Bros. Records released a 12" single containing a special disco version of "Have a Cigar" by Rosebud, a studio group led by composer Gabriel Yared, from their album Discoballs: A Tribute to Pink Floyd.[14][15] The song peaked at number 4 on Billboard's Disco Top 80 chart in June 1979. The B-side was a disco version of "Money".
