I made night 1 of Atlanta. Besides the awful venue, it was amazing! I love their cover choices at every show but Atlanta got the heat. They’re absolutely the best thing going. I’m digging them like 97-01 Houser Panic.

Those were some good years. Saw some great shows in new Orleans those years. Every time I pass the venue in Louis Armstrong Park, I think about those Halloween and new years shows. That was a great venue before UNO

99-01 was my hey-day. Only hit NOLA in 2001. There was some great stuff those years. Big shows like Oak Mountain and Red rocks or random Tuesdays in Johnson City, TN.

Goose is the first time I’ve been excited about something like I was back then.

I thought Pullman Yards was pretty cool . Heard it was a nightmare getting in Saturday though

Idk what this thread is saying, but Goose is fricking legit.

They bring the magic live. Can they sustain??

Went to spoon last night at toulouse theater. What a great venue - super small.

I like the venue a lot more now with that bar ripped out of the middle of the damn floor. You can tell they put some $ into the sound at Toulouse too.

I had not 'dove' into Goose before these shows. I'm a fan after seeing them live and in action. They're added to this list of 'If they come within 6 hours I'm going'. I think they are very versatile live. They can jam, and they like to jam.

They're better than or at the level of an Umphreys IMO. They're young and have potential to be handed one of the torches. Hope these guys can sustain and have some good leadership/mentors looking after them behind the scenes.

My Highlights from 10/7:
Bob Don > Look out Cleveland (The band cover)
Pancakes > Dr Darkness
Thought they did a good job covering 'What's Up' by 4 non blondes to close it out.

Im going to see phil this weekend and the kid from goose is the lead guitarist. Im interested to see how he does in that environment.

I thoroughly enjoyed the friday night goose in New Orleans.

I wasnt a fan of bob don, song is boring to me. Look out cleveland and turbulence were cool though.
