I'll start with Terri Gibbs first three albums. The third album, "Some Days It Rains All Night Long", has some really good ballads on it. All three of her first albums are excellent. She has a deep, soulful voice. I've seen her live, once at a bar full of tough customers who were mesmerized by her songs. They all looked so sad LOL.

Her "best of" albums are on CD. Her first three albums are not, and some of her best songs are not on the "Best of" albums (Oh Rain being one, not even on youtube).

You can find some really obscure stuff on youtube, but not the stuff from the first three Terri Gibbs albums. Rubicon, a predecessor of Night Ranger, had two albums. I know Jerry Martini, the sax player who was in that band (and in Sly and the Family Stone). Hummingbirds, a lineup of top jazz musicians, had one album and you can find the cuts on youtube. But, Gibbs had a Grammy nomination tied to one album yet those albums are out of print.

Of local interest, I've got a couple of early Woodenhead LPs that have never been issued in any digital form as far as I can tell. Even Allmusic doesn't list them.

I assume there is some contract and/or copyright issue that is preventing the release of her first three albums. One album generated at least one Grammy nomination but you can't get the digital version of the album?!

Terri Gibbs and I email. She pointedly ignores my question about the albums.

She probably didn't see where you asked about them.
