This is probably the best film score so far this year. Reminded of Vangelis and Twin Peaks. Really gave the film this unsettling but beautiful atmosphere throughout.

Trent Reznor is the best musician on the planet. He and Atticus Ross have scored three Fincher films since 2010: Social Network, Girl w/ Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl.
IMO the best score EVER was Lost Highway, which also featured Trent Reznor.

Watching the movie, I actually never even noticed the score.
