In your personal opinion... which one of these two guys would you consider to be more talented and why?

Throughout his career, Liberace publicly denied his homosexual orientation and successfully sued both The Daily Mirror newspaper and Confidential, who reported some of his gay relationships, winning damages and legal fees. Toward the end of his life, his former chauffeur and lover, Scott Thorson, unsuccessfully sued him for palimony, slander and conversion of property.
With that said, I'm going to say Glen Campbell because he played on Pet Sounds album and BJ Thomas graduated from Lamar Consolidated High School in Rosenberg.
But it's close.

Serious question. Why in the hell would you want to compare these two particular people? You'd be hard pressed to find two people with a more different approach to the instrument. They're both extremely talented in their own way. But Mayer is on of the most talented players alive today, pretty-boy-crooner-tons-of-screaming-girls image be damned. I really believe he's a blues guy at heart and just does that other shite to pay for his watch habit and to bring in the muff.
