I cant believe people are praising that.

He was speaking rapidly and sometimes incoherently like he was on coke.

He didnt finish a song for the first hour and a half.

When he did stop playing the songs, he screamed like he had just completed some masterpiece.

He didnt have a band with him

He played 1 verse of Rodeo and didnt do the chorus, then he played thunder rolls and didnt do the last verse.

I'd be demanding my money back if i had pad for that in vegas.

he's been doing this show for 3 years now

if you didn't find that show entertaining, I don't know what to tell you.

I wanted to hear Garth Brooks play his music. Instead he rambled for 2 hourse randomly playing a verse here and there usually not even from his songs on a cheap Takamine that sounded like shite. I laughed so hard when he tried to tune to drop d by ear, obviously couldnt do it, then had a buzzing everytime he strummed.

that's not what this was though

yes, he played bits and pieces of his original music, but it was a history of music that makes the dude tick

I found it really interesting

I know I know... everything sucks and nothing is good enough anymore

He also needs to check Trisha Yearwood at the door next time.

It was not the show I thought it was going to be. This was a bad and good thing I suppose. I was disappointed not to see him playing some classics with a band, but I was entertained by the "stand up" of it all.

I stumbled into the camp drunk and ready pass out when I ran across this on TV the other night. Had to close one eye to watch it, but I watched a pretty good chunk of it and remember it being pretty damn entertaining.
