Not just Fret. Any of you guys who are acoustic nerds. Got my first vintage guitar. A Martin from the 70’s.

It’s in decent shape but a bit old and grimy. Like most older guitars.

INB4 “only hot breath and a dry towel” this is a random purchase. The grime is not mine. If it were my grandpaw or uncles guitar I’d leave it be. But it’s not.

I am using some Lizard Spit VIP polish. Supposed to just clean and shine the old old surface.

Any other tips or products. Not looking to alter or refinish. Just make cleaner and shiny.

Thanks.

Avoid anything with silicon it really complicates any future repairs.

I've been satisfied with 'Preservation Polish' from Stewart MacDonald.
