It is kind of mean. I honestly did not know if $100 pickguards were better than MIM Fender. Nor did I know if 40 bucks from a known seller (Stratosphere) were better than Squire PUPS when talking about non Classic Vibe models.

I did not expect you to hand wind 3 single coil boutique PUPS for me for a hundy. I simply wanted your expertise on price points and if I should just stay with what I have.

Mean? Are you serious? If you "honestly did not know," you have ignored or chosen to forget the advice I've already given you in the last thread on this. Advice on pickups, electronics and replacement pickguards in general; about Stratosphere's business model; about MIA vs MIM vs Asian price points and the quality of each factory; about how much to expect to pay to make an electronics legit upgrade to any MIM Strat ...

Your 3/26/2022 thread with every one of your questions answered

And from P2 of that thread ... Thanks Fret. Even though you’ve crushed my dream of cheapness. I appreciate the input. It’s what I pretty much figured.

Again, everyone, my shop and I tap out. Uncle. I have nothing else informative or constructive to offer.

Good lord. This is not the poli board. I like you as a poster. I am not getting into a pissing match with you.

I simply asked about my MIM price point. You answered. Thank you.

My next thread was a totally different guitar and cheaper price point of PUPs. I wasn’t asking about the MIM again.

If we’re gonna get in a pissing match at least make it useful. “VAN HALEN SUCKS!!!”

I prefer Seattle Music. I’m glad it killed hair metal!!!

Bam!!! Now that’s a pissing contest!!
