Fret Level in NO area?

Who are the go-to guys for a fret level in New Orleans?
I have a 15 year old tele with divots all over the fretboard. I've always done my own setups and adjustments but don't think I'm ready to try a fret level, especially since this has the little frets so there's not much to work with.
I buy strings, etc. from either Guitar Center or Paul in Bywater but I've never had any significant work done by either.

Sounds like you need more than a fret level. You probably need to sand down some of the fingerboard to get rid of the divots and then get a new fret job. That said, I couldn't tell you where to take it. Maybe TheFretShack will chime in.
My old LP Jr. has the same problem so I'll be watching the comments in this thread.

Sorry - divots on the frets, not the fretboard. To the point where certain chords sound out of tune.

Ah, that's a much better situation. But you might still consider a re-fret since the frets were small to begin with. Do you have a maple or rosewood fretboard? Rosewood is much simpler because you don't have to worry about the finish.

Maple. If they recommend a full refret I will just buy a new neck and sell the old one on ebay. You can get necks straight from Fender for $200. If the old neck fetches $75 that ends up being cheaper than a refret. But this is my favorite neck I've ever played, so I'd like to keep it going a while longer if I can.

Here's a couple blogs I wrote that may shed light on fret stuff and help you determine the best course of action for your situation.

The what, when and why of refrets

Todd's Music Express in Metairie is a phenomenal shop. I've always used them for everything from set up, to pup install, to complete rewiring. They're nice and very good at what they do.
Give them a call.
